As you might have noticed....I like taking pictures. If you know me or spend anytime with me you know I'm the crazy person at every event running around saying..."cheese!!" I'm not sure what it is that I love so much about taking pictures, maybe it's that I know I'm capturing a moment that will always be smiled upon with a simple glance. Maybe it's being the one to "take" that prefect picture you'll feel good about showing people. Whatever it is, I'm excited!! It's only been in the last year that I realized how much I love this medium of art and trust me I've done it all...just ask my very patient husband who has seen me take up every hobby a girl can think of. But somethings different this time I feel a passion and excitement I've never felt....and the amazing encouragement from all my friends and family has only fueled that. I can't tell you how many times I dragged my girl friends out for a photo shoot. Like I said, I'm still very new at this but I feel confident in my work and love what I'm doing and wanted to let you all know I'm dying to take pictures!!!! The last few shoots I did went great and I am very excited about this picture perfect weather!! If your interested in my services I'm keeping my prices very reasonable and promise you wont be disappoint in the quality or quantity. I've done a number of maternity shoots, a "trash the dress" (personal fav!!), kids, couples and families.

I have the best family, the coolest kids!!!! The most amazing husband ever, who loves and care for me perfectly and takes beautiful care of my girls. He blesses me everyday and I can't put into words how happy and honored I feel to be his wife! I have a beautiful home that makes me feel happy and relaxed. I have a healthy body that allows me to keep up with my babies, and that I feel good about, my girls and husband are healthy and happy. I have a reliable car that is safe. I have amazing friends that care for my physical and spiritual well being, and with out a doubt are at my side during any crisis big or small. I have 2!!!!! wonderful moms who love me and give me wonderful advise and that have shown me what a "woman of God looks like. My Dad has been and will always be my "Daddy", who's shown me how to be responsible and kind and showed me what a good husband looks like...(which I found). I have 5 siblings that a happy and close to me and are all happy.
I have a very supportive home church that cares for my family and uplifts my relationship with God. I have a Pastor that encourages my spiritual walk. Our church has a great childrens ministries that has peaked my girls desire to know and love Jesus. And they have the most loving teachers ever....Grandma Renee and Grandpa Blake!!!! Thank you!!!!
I have food in my fridge so I can feed my children everyday, and make my husband dinner after a long day at work. My husband HAS a job that is reliable and supportive of our families needs. And I never worry if were going to be able to pay our bills or not. Thank you Ryan for supporting us.
I live in a beautiful town, and have park right the street for the girls to run and play!!! The weather here is amazing.....it's always a "nice day" in Redding!!!

I know sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the things we don't have and forget how blessed we really are.....it feels good to look around and see how much my Heaven Father has blessed me and makes me see realize how little I "want" for. Thank you Lord.

Not Ready to Let Satan In!!!!

Ryan and I have been in a season of "lessons" and I have to admit it hasn't been easy. But our God is an awesome God and I praise him. A month ago both Ryan and I both found ourselves in a awesome growing stage of our relationship with the Lord...we both found ourselves so hungry and wanting to give so much more of ourselves to our Lord. I've seen Ryan taking his roll as spiritual leader seriously and seeing him disciple his family made me eager for that same fire. It's been an awesome adventure and I've learned so much about my God, His desires for my life, His Love for me, His desire for my prayer life.. and a few very interesting lessons on obedience and the blessing that come from that obedience.
So here we are now a few weeks later amazed and in awe the Lord... We've made a few changes in our life that we know are important and we know were called to do them and we ready, and Satan has taken notice.......Dang it!!! I'm putting this down in a blog so I can out it out there, it's in the acknowledged....I'm not about to let Satan sneak in here noticed. Ryan and I are finally on the same page and growing together and taking steps forward together as a married couple who love the Lord and ready to give EVERY part of our life to the Lord not holding any part back!! And if Satan thinks he can walk right in here and distract us from what an awesome God we have....boy is he mistaken!!!!! So I'm going to confess my frustrations Lord and ask you take these doubts away.
Has anyone noticed that it seems like everyone was doing really good a few months ago...people were growing, relationships were blossoming, marriages were strong.... but this is life people no were in the Bible does it say ..."As soon as you become a Christian life is going to get easier." In fact it quit the opposite. We live in a crappy world.....cars break down, people fail you, money gets tight, people get sick and suffer, BUT we don't have to stay here forever!!!! Our Lord is coming for us, He's prepared a perfect home for us...and He's given us a Helper and Comforter. We have to have faith and know that His will for our life is perfectly planned out, but we can't hear His will if we're sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves.....seek Him and He will sustain you, comfort you and heal you. It wasn't any accident we all felt a need to seek Him so strongly, God is an all knowing God and he LOVES us so much, and I feel so comforted that He knew we'd be coming on a time of trial and we'd need Him close by. Thank you Lord for loving me, caring for me, and for pulling me close for this rough patch.
I also want you all to know I've felt a very strong conviction to pray not for myself and my struggles (Ryan does that for me) but to pray for you. My relationship with Him is not only for my self but for others... I want to pray for you, but I also need to pray for you....God's changed my heart from myself and turned it outward.....I don't want to lose that.

My Table....(sad face)

My table broke......very sad. I loved sitting out side...reading my Bible and sipping coffee. Last weekend Ryan and I went to the coast for our 6 year anniversary (very fun), but when we came home our patio table was shattered and in a million pieces. Took me forever to clean up but I knew it had to be a very thorough job...too many kiddies playing back there.
Soooooo if any one has an old patio table they wanna see go...call me...i need one.

I was doing my makeup yesterday getting ready to go in town. Madison as usual was sitting on the toilet tank watching me. This is the conversation we had.....
Madison-" Mommy can I wear some make up too?"
Me-"No honey this is for mommy."
Madison- "Why?"
Me-"Because your young and beautiful and you don't need make up"
Madison- (long pause) "But mommy your young and beautiful too."
I love being a mommy!!!!

I know I know it's been literly forever since my last "real" blog...and so much has been going on I'm going to have to try and squeeze it all in one blog because I'm wanting to get back on track with this thingy..... Ok here it goes.

1. My oldest daughter turned 3 on may 4th we had a great birthday party with lots of our friends. She grown so much in the last 6 months....she's like a little companion for me. She helps with Morgan a ton! She my informer "Mom Morgan's playing in the potty!!!" And I'm not sure what took place but she's turned into this sensitive child that feels grief when she knows I'm upset with her....6 months ago she was giving dirty looks and throwing nasty tantrums, now we have full on conversations about how our actions effect everyone and how we need to ask for forgiveness when we've hurt someone....And she DOES!!! Crazy hu? So if you know me you know that Madison and I Share the same birthday. Which brings me to point 2.

2. My birthday wasn't great I was planning Madison birthday and cleaning my house like crazy. I tried to have a little girls night with my friends but that didn't go great either we couldn't find anywhere to go after dinner...everywhere in Redding after 8 on a Tuesday is lame!!!
So crazy thing few days later a dear friend of mine tells me "We need to talk" Yikes!!! It didn't sound good...OK so it wasn't any big deal she just wanted to get me out of the house so all my friends and family could show up to my house for my surprise party!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been so surprised in my life!!!!! It was great!!!!! Cakes, pizza and presents all for ME!! It's been well..3 years since my birthday was about me. I felt so loved and special!!!

3. So even cooler then the party, my 3 dear friends Jess Johnson, Becky Moseley and Candace Peacut pulled me in my room during the party and said they have another gift for me........a weekend trip to San Jose that started....NOW!!! They quickly helped me pack my bags and threw me in Jess' car and we headed to San Jose at 8:30 pm which got us there around 1:30am!!! It was so awesome just us 4 girls got to shop (with all my birthday money!!) lay out by the pool(at Becky's in-laws house,where we stayed) and went to a very cool club after dinner!!! This trip meant so much to me having friends that care about me enough to want me to feel special and do something about it!!! Thank you Lord for putting these women in my life blessing me so richly!!

4. The very next weekend I had my churches woman's retreat!!! (my poor kids think mommy's never home) This was a very different experience for me. I learned alot of really great things from our speaker and got to spend alot of great one on one time with our Father, but this retreat has also pushes me in a way I didn't expect. I has forced me take a hard look at myself and evaluate the way I view things. It's been a good thing because it's cause me to seek a deep relationship on only with my heavenly Father but also his Holy Spirit. I've found myself spending more time in my Bible tearing it apart searching for more and more on the Spirit seeking to understand his ways and desires for me. I pray this takes me to a new peek in my ever growing relationship with the Lord.
So I also want to share an awesome experience I had during this weekend aways with my sisters in Christ......I was given an awesome gift. On the last day a group of about 20 women hiked to the top of a creek where we found water fall and larger pool area. It was in this pool area that Jess Johnson and myself had the privilege of baptizing 4 women in to our family under Christ!!! This was such an honor and blessing to me personally. This experience refocused my eyes as to what our purpose is here in the world to which we are aliens. Thank you Father for loving me and knowing my heart..only you knew how much this would encourage me.

5. So Ok we got home from the retreat on Sunday night...I had to immediately had to do laundry and repack for me and Ryan's week long trip to Washington DC!!!! We've had this trip planned for months and it was finally here!!!! My big brother lives over in DC and had been wanting us to come visit forever!! My parents got to my house on Tuesday (they stayed with the kids here at my house) and Ryan and I took the "red eye" to DC, we arrived at 11am ...and our week on DC officially began!!! We saw everything and had a great time!!!! My brother and his wife both had to work during the days so Ryan and I quickly learned how navigate our way through DC on the Metro (subway). It was a little nerve racking at first but once we got the hang of it we were pros! We saw all the major sites Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Vietnam War wall of names, The Capitol and all it's cool tunnels, most of the Smithsonian Museums, Arlington Cemetery and the changing of the guards(very cool), we ate tons of cool foods snails, baby octopus, Lebanese, Ti and Asian Bistro all very good!! Needless to say we h ad an amazing time... great for our marriage but our patriotism as well, being in our states capoital gives you a true sense of natioal pride! Very cool!

So What's next?
NOTHING!!!!! We have no major plans for awhile now it's time to chill, hang with friends, play with our kids(let them know were home for a while) and enjoy home!!! Ryan's birthday and our 6 year annivary is in June but I think we might just stay home for those:) OK so now I'm caught up no reason to not blog!!!! Love ya all ...Rachael

I know its been forever since my last post and I have things I want to share with you all, great good things. God has really been working on my heart and moving me past a point I've been stuck most of my adult life. But not today, I want to really take my time and I want what I have to say to encourage others in their walk so.... today you get Easter 2009!!!
We went to church, worshiped our risen King, hung out with family in the afternoon, did an Easter egg hunt and played with friends in the evening. So here's a few pictures from our day.

Yesterday was a good day... I had fun with the girls, we did laundry and watched Bambi together AND Ryan got to come home early!!! I was planning on taking the girls over to my friend Jess' house to start our "Woman after God's own Heart" Bible study, but Ryan said since he was going to be home I should just leave the girls with him. AWESOME!!! Right? So I went.. I love this book I feel so encouraged and motivated to focus on my personal relationship with God. If you have the opportunity, read it!!! Both of Jess' kiddos were asleep so it was a great time for us.

My parents are coming today around noon... so I knew when I got home I had a lot of little stuff to do to get ready.. clean house and finish laundry( you know how it is ladies... having your mom come to your house... why do we feel the need to clean everything perfectly?) OK here comes my perfect day/ hubby... I walk in the door and Ryan had the house perfectly clean!!! And for any of you that really know Ryan "clean" to him is not just picking up the kids toys. He cleaned everything and more then I was planning on doing that night... were talking mopping, vacuuming, dishes done and put away, bathrooms spotless( including the toilets), everything in it's place... it was like a dream!!!! And the kids seemed moderately happy... not easy when trying to clean the whole house!!! Seriously it was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders...I had nothing to do but rest... really when does that happen?

Ryan, I know I don't thank you enough... but you seriously are the "huge-est" blessing in my life! You take better care of me then I do myself, thank you for providing for me, loving me and knowing me better then anyone, thank you for being an amazing father to my girls, and thank you for choosing me to be your bride. I can't put into words how much it means to me that you knew I wasn't going to be able to relax until those things were done, and more importantly thank you for taking that burden on your self for my sake.

I had the best thing today......carmel chocolate milk from Dutch Bros!! And cheap too I'm not sure if we were under charged but a medium was only 2.00... is that right? What ever it was awesome!!!! Thanx Bobby for introducing it to Ryan!!! I love it!!! Any idea how many calories that is...I afraid to know.

Treadmill!!!!

I'm so freak'n excited!!!!! I bought a treamill on craigslist yesterday, 75 bucks, it's less then 2 years old and hardly used!!! It's a walmart brand so I know it can't be great but I like it!!! I ran on it yesterday while watching tv and visiting with Ryan, it was great I worked up a great sweat and felt great!!! I ran 2 miles in 20 again....still trying to work on that number. But here's the cool part I got on the scale this morning and I'm 1.9 pounds from my goal!!!! AAaaahhhh some one pinch me, all this work is really paying off!!! and now that I'm so close I think I can safely move my goal back 5 more pounds... don't worry Ryan no more after that I promise!! But this feels so good.. I weight less today then I did my first year of college, 8 years ago.... crap I'm old.

Death Already?

Ryan called my yesterday little after his lunch, I'd just seem him 30 minutes ago so I was curious. He said he was sad to be the bearer of bad new but his grandma's dog Mercy (The little dog that spent a week at our house about a month ago) had drowned in pool. I feel really sad for his grandma, she really needed that dog around, she was just like grandma sleeping at all hours of the day and a little grumpy at times too. So ok it's sad but I'm fine and his grandma willbe fine too...but what about Madison? She loved that dog, and every time we go see grandma see runs around the house to find Mercy. Not to mention every time I ask her if she wants to go see grandma she says "..and Mercy?" Unsure what to do I asked Ryan ... He doesn't think we need to tell her... that she'll forget there ever was a dog...but I'm thinking she's smarter then that and she'd going to ask on my watch. Ok so what would you do I'm so torn...did Mercy go live on a farm? Or did she die? Or do we avoid the subject all together? If you have any other idea please ...help. Normally I'm pretty sure of my parenting... but not today...help!! I'm not even sure of what God wants me to do... and yes I've asked. This all seems too painful and confussing for a 2 year old.

My Morg!!!!

With Morg being sick, she's been kinda... ok a lot whiny, any ways she's not been her self, well.... I miss that smiley little girl. She make my morning, every morning, her bright smile makes me soooo happy and can't help but laugh. She's walking so good lately, I think having a big sister helps. She's either running from Madison or chasing her. It's the funniest thing inthe world watching Madison running from her baby sister (really mad and usually screaming) and this little tiny thing following behind laughing like it's a game.
So she also has a new game... running the bathroom every chance she gets to play with the "water" ....I know what your thinking ('' no wander the kid's puking") but I wash her hands every time it happens, and if she really had fun ... a bath. Any way I'm not sure what to do, I've been saying NO very firm and smacking her little hand, but she laughs. I thought I wasn't making enough of an impact so I started smacking it (her hand- to clarify) a little harder but she just laughs harder. Silly girl... so baby gates are going up everywhere- not the best timing since Madison's just getting good at potty training, putting gates up where she can't get through doesn't help.
I've always had very strong feeling on not letting children know they're hurt....but man!...Morgan's taken it to new levels. When Madison was a baby I made a point not to look when I heard a thud, if she didn't have anyone acknowledge she was hurt she normally just get up and keep going, but if I knew it was going to be bad, I go to her, not wait for the cry. But Morgan!! Holy cow that kid's tougher then most men I know. She has fallen straight back, hit her head on the coffee table (enough to raise a bump and buise) and she still jumped right up and kept heading for the cookie!!! I think that's why I'm having such a hard time seeing her so sick and sad. She's just not happy right now, poor baby.

Valentines Day Banquet!!!!

The day before Valentines day, our church had a banquet in which I was hosting a table. I've never "hosted" a table for anything before, so I have to admit I was a little nervous. I wanted it to be perfect something people remembered and enjoyed. I have to say it was one of the funnest nights Ryan and I have had together in a long time!!! We had such a great time with all our friends and had great food. We took a ton of pictures because well.........this is Redding and we never get a chance to dress up and look pretty.
So with this all said I'm soooo glad we had such a good time because less then 5 hours later I had little Morgan in my arms throwing up over the sink, and Jess had little Adin throwing up in the bathroom every 15 minutes, and later at 3am I heard Ryan running to the bathroom to throw up!!! I also found out that Joey and Krista (pictured above) got sick a day later, and Mike Jess's hubby was sick too. Sooooo we all got sick, very sick, strangely enough none of us moms got sick, maybe God knew our little families wouldn't do very well with out mommy there cleaning up the throw up and rubbing little backs. I just pray that He continues to have mercy on us moms. So needless to say my actual Valentines Day kinda sucked, ok really sucked, but I thank God for allowing us to have such a great pre-valentines day night.

PS If your a mom out there reading this..... we all got it from the kiddie area at the mall, last Tuesday at moms group. I've heard of two different moms say their kids were "throw up" kinda sick after that day, and my kids didn't have to close contact with their kids. Lets all just pray the Lord would place a hand of healing and peace on all the families infected by this nasty little bug, and strength for all those mommies getting up at all odd hours cleaning very poopy diaper and pukey pillows and sheets. Lord knows how much I need him.

PPS. Please keep little Morgan in your prayers, she's still pretty sick, everyone else in my family seems to be getting better but she's still not eating and is pooping alot still.

My Little Tinker Bell

Madison will be 3 in May and I'm still in awe of how amazing she is. She soooo smart, a few months ago she asked "what's that?" as we passed a power plant, I explained as simply as possible, that it was a place that made power for us, so we could turn on the lights and the t.v. and mommy could blow dry her hair. She thought a minute and said......." Like a battery?" In shock I said " Yes just like a battery, little smarty!!"
Lately she been obsessed with Tinker Bell and has been asking me everyday to fix her hair like Tinker Bell. The first time I did it, it turned out perfect, and second and eleventh time it looked more like a pony tail. And I'm sure you've all read about my mishaps of potty training, well it's happened!!! One day I woke up and said "we're done with diapers!!!" I moved all the diapers out of the diaper drawer and replaced them with panties. And I told Madison we were going to wear panties from now on. Mind you the first two days we had quit a few accidents, but we survived and were much better for it!!! It's been a week and she been wearing panties all day, everyday!!!!!!!! We still wear a diaper at night but this morning she was still dry and went in and used the potty right away, so that's a good sign. Oh and poo poo was never a problem!!! Great hu? Any ways I'm kinda in love with my daughter and I wanted to the world to know how great is......and not just because she's potty trained, because she's smart, beautiful, imaginative, sweet natured, sensitive, and loves her mommy unconditionally!!!! (Even if I haven't showered in 2 days or fixed my hair in 4.)
I've been reading that book Captivating, and I'm realizing how importnat it really is to be that encouraging mom, and how much it impacts us as an adult. I want to be that mom to her encouraging, understnading, loving her so she values herself as a woman of God later in life.

Been Up 2?!!

OK I know it's been forever and a day since my last blog, and well I could give a few good reasons for not posting but they'd take up my time, and I much rather tell you about what I've been up to.
First we had a great Christmas, Ryan and I drove 8 hours on 3 in. of packed snow to eastern Oregon to be with my parents. We had a GREAT time we relaxed, hung out with my brother and his new wife, got to visit with my sister, her husband and new little girl, played games every night till midnight, cut a Christmas a tree, decorated the Christmas tree, decorated Christmas cookies,(and gained 5 pounds) shot a Tommy gun and machine gun (all very legal for anyone concerned), and had the power go out for 18 hours due to heavy snow fall.

Morgan's walking now and now the slow, unsure walk, the walking down the hall way past mommy and into the kitchen to play in Tupperware cabinet, walking. Very crazy. Also Madison and Morgan are officially sharing the same room, little Reuther secert, Morgan has been sleeping in our closet for the past 7 months. We tried to put her and Madison in the same room but they just kept each other up all night, so in into the next best thing.... the closet. And there she slept very well, all night no crying, quiet, dark little room of her own, well Ryan and I both knew this couldn't last forever, so when we got back from Oregon we put her straight into her room with big sis, and strangely it went fine.

Let see what else? Oh yeah anyone else tired of all the colds/virses running around, well I am!! We've (all 4 of us) have gotten sick 3 times since thanksgiving!! And poor little Morg has gotten an ear infection every time!! So needless to say I've had my hands full. Oh and well let just say potty training is .....well it's nothing in this household. I've tried everything, and my last attempt back fired on me big time!!!! I called my cousin ( she has two little girls and a little 3 month old boy) for some advise on getting this done with. She said she told her daughter that she was too old to be wearing diapers and wasn't going to put them on her anymore and if she( the 2 year old) wanted to wear them she'd have to put them on herself. Well it worked for little Abb. She couldn't get it on and was forced to put on panties, and with in a few days had it down. OK sounds good right? Well it does if your 2 year doesn't have the body of a 4 year old!! I told Madison this same thing and well...... she GOT IT ON!!! And now she thinks she's a big girl cuz she puts her own diapers on, so now I don't even know when she pees cuz she just changes it her self, and because she's always thrown away her diapers after I changed them she throws them away too!! How do I know all this you may ask... well I caught her changing her own little diaper!!! So here's my plan.... I'm not buying anymore diapers!!!!! When we're out, we're out!!! And she'll have to use the big girl potty!!!! Crazy hu? I'm sure there will be a post in store for you all about that one.
Any ways I'm glad it's a new year I have lots to tell you about my plans for this year but that's a whole new post, and I want to take my time on that one. But one thing I can tell you now is that I have a few new jobs, I'm going to be doing a few different things for Owen's Pharmacy from home, we'll see how it goes, lots of calling people and filing of paper work. I'm a little nervous but if I plan it right with naps I should be set. The extra income would be nice.... you know the old "pay off debts" resolution, it's right after my loss 15 pounds.

Any ways bed is calling, and I'm ready for it!! Night.

Candy Candy Candy Now it's all over and I'm surrounded by candy...this can't be good of a girl trying to loss 5 more pounds. Luck for me people seem to be getting cheaper with the goods and gave the kids mostly crappy candy...you know the kinda I wanna steal during nap time when no one's looking. Halloweens funny we spend 364 days a year teaching our kids not to take candy from strangers then 1 day a year we TAKE them to ask for candy.... not the best parenting idea ever... not the worst either. What ever the kids had fun and I got candy!!!!

I love this kid, she's got a way of making you smile. And sometimes I swear she's 2 going on 13. There's not a day that goes by that she doesn't surprise me with a clever comment. Today we walked to the park, and as we rounded the street to see the park, I could see that they had painted it and was now blocked off with tape and we wouldn't be able to play. I felt bad and tried to explain why we could play on it, with a very concerned look on her little face Madison looked and me then back at the park and said "they broke the park mommy and they "fik" it now? I giggled and said "yes the have to fix it before we can play ok".

I love yard sales and not to brag but I always find the best deals, this summer I found a jogger stroller that I paid 3.00 for. That same day I also made the girls a pretty cool book collection for less then 10.00. But I might have out done my self I've been wanting to buy the girls a play house but they're just so expensive, well this past weekend I was drive through my neighborhood and saw this one for sale!!!!! I paid a prefect 20.00 for it!!!!

Seriously....Seriously I've been running for three weeks now oh so very proud of my quick miles and my time getting better and better. I knew my "mile" was a "mile" cuz when I lived up the street months ago Ryan and I measured it with the car. Well yesterday I measured it again you know just for fun!!!! NOT A MILE WHAT THE HECK!!!!!! It's .8 miles which means my 15 minute mile was really like 18 minute mile and my great 8.4 minute mile was really like an eleven minute mile!!!!! CRAPPY that's what this is!!!! I know I know it's still good for me to run but I'm slightly irritated.

So I ran again tonight I ran a total of 4 miles. First mile not so great.... 10.22 but better then last week when I was doing 15 minute miles. Second mile much better, I felt great and really pushed myself....8.40. The third I started to loss steam and finished at 9.18 and the last I took slow at 11.23. But all still all together it was 39 minutes and 43 seconds. I'm gonna start writing down everything I eat and see if that helps, I did that with Weight Watchers and I did really good with that so wish me luck I'll keep you all informed, writing about it keeps me accountable. Thanks for all the info Billy it pushed me to work on my time!!!

My Feet Hurt!!

OK I'm still running, but man my feet are killing me!! I know, I know it my shoes right? But I've got live with them for a while.
But I do have a question out there for all you athletic people... I've been running anywhere from 2 to 3 1/2 miles everyday, and I'm wanting to push myself to go farther but I was wondering.....Is it better to run farther and have my miles take about 14 minutes each so that I CAN go farther or.... run faster and work on getting my mile under 10 minutes but right now when I do that I can only go no more then 2 miles. Honestly when I run slow i feel like I can keep going on forever and I usually stop because it's getting late and I need to get ready for bed.
Oh and I know it's better to run in the morning so I burn calories during the day but my cute little girls are up at the crack of dawn already and Ryan leaves for work so that really doesn't work for me so i try and go every night after the girls go down for bed.
Oh and one more question..... why am i not losing weight? I've been running for 2 weeks and I still up that 5 pounds that I gained last month!!!! I sweat buckets and feel good about running but really who runs because it's fun I wanna see results man!!!!!!!! I'm wanting to loss this funky gained 5 pounds and plus 5 pounds more, and really that's not that bad 10 pounds is totally doable. So what the heck!!!!

So I gained 5 lbs this past month. Wedding after wedding eating way too much and getting to my goal weight and forgetting you can't just go back to the way I used to eat. Well one thing lead to another and well the weight creeps back on. So with this all this said I knew I had to get back to running, I was a ok runner last summer before I got prego with Morgie. And when I say "runner" I do NOT mean 7 miles a day like miss Candace!!! But more like a mile or 2 every few days to make my self feel good. Anyways I ran a few nights ago and well it wasn't pretty, I ran maybe and I do mean maybe a mile. I came in and died, beat red and sweating buckets. I felt like I had been shot in the gut. I hurt so bad. So I did it again last night little better but not much still only ran the mile and still hurt pretty bad but I recovered a little faster.
So ready to give up, I gave it one more go tonight....... and I'm so back!!!! I ran around my block SIX times!!!!!!! One lap is 1/2 a mile I was only doing 2 laps a night ago, I don't know what happened tonight but I felt great!!! I ran one no pain... one more hu? still no pain ok one more sill kill me but I'll try it... what the heck still nothing.... ok i'm going for the gold....I"m going to go 6 laps.....and I kid not I did it!!!! And I still feel nothing!!!! My legs feel a little sore but other then that I really think I might have been able to go a few more miles. So I going to the river trail tomorrow and run with a girl friend so we'll see how that goes I'll keep you updated but this 5 lbs should be no problem!!!

Ryan and I went with some friends to a Outlaws game this last saturday, and had a great time. It was the first time that I left Morgan for more then 3 hours in fact she was with grandma and gradpa for 12 hours!!! She took two 8oz bottle with no problem!!! Any ways back to the game, it was great we went to Hula's some Chinese BBQ and ate ourselves silly and headed to the mall, I got some killer deals and tried everything on without having to stop and change a dirty diaper or nurse half naked and wearing the stores pants!!! Next we made our way over to the game and all got a ice cold beer!!! I don't drink beer often but it seemed like the right time!! I love my kids but I really enjoy little break too!!

My cousin got married last weekend and I was a bridesmaid, it has been so long since I've had my legs shaved, my hair done, my nails on, had perfect makeup and had a killer dress on all at the same exact same time!!! I felt like a million bucks!!! My dress was very similar to "the yellow dress" on "How to Loss a Guy in 10 Days" with Kate Hudsen beautiful!!!! I loved it!!! I had a great time, poor Ryan had to keep an eye on the kids while I did my bridesmaid duties. I was crazy busy the whole week before the wedding, nail appointments, bachlorett parties and family at my house. I so glad it's over but I really did have a good time getting all dolled up again!

I thought being a stay at home mom ment things would slow down and I could sit and read books to my chidren for hour and hang out with friends anytime I wanted but I'm coming to the realization that is very much NOT true the house get dirtier and more clothes need to be washed, more dishes get dirty and need to be cleaned, the girls make way more messes and there are just not enough hours in the day to get it all done,the same stinking pile of clean clothes have been thrown from the bed to the floor 3 nights in a row and everyday I throw them back on the bed and say to my slef todays the day this pile is going bye bye and in people drawers, and to no surpries 11:30 pm rolls around and I walk back in my room and push them back on the floor!!! (Wow sorry to all you grammer people out there that was a very long run on sentence. But I'm going to leave it for funs sake.) On the up side I feel happy right now I feel like the girls and I have been having good days we laugh alot and play alot , which in turn makes the messes I never feel like cleaning up.
Oh yeah exciting stuff Emily took our pictures last week so I should be posting some ways cute pictures soon !!!! I jus tlove her work and can't wait to see how they turned out!!!
Ryans been busy too he's taking classes at simpson and has been doing alot of homework and/or in class. I'm so proud of him though its alot to take on with a full time job and a full time family to distract you.

Ok while I'm on a roll I have question I know I've asked this before to some of you in person but I'd like to see what all of you think..... I have my brothers wedding at the end of Aug and its a no children allowed wedding which I'm am totally cool with in fact i'm happy about it Ryan and I havn't had more then 3 hours alone for the past 2 years and we need a weekend away. Anyways Ryans parents are taking the girls roughly 48 hours and well little problem Morgan still wont take a bottle. I bought a Adiri bottle ( top of the line nurers bottle$12.00 of one little bottle) last week and well it's not goin g so well she just screams bloody murder like someoen is killing her. I really need to figure this out everyone has told me it will work it's self out but I can just see it now Aug rolls around and she's till not taking the bottle and we end up taking her in turn Ryan and I's romantic weekend with no kids turns into Rachael running out every 2 hours during the wedding and recption to feed the beast! Any ideas? Has anyone one ever did the "when she's hungery enough she'll eat" theroy? I hear that alot and it scares me to try.

Any ways long story short I'm good,my house is messy, but were having fun making the mess and my only big stress in my life is how to get Morgan on a bottle.

On the 28th Ryan and I will have been married for 5 wonderful years. In that time we moved 4 times, put Ryan through college, traveled to Mexico, Flordia, Oregon, North and South Carolina, and to Fresno CA more times then I'd like to remember; we had 2 very beutiful girls Madison and Morgan. We faught some, laughed lots and made just as much love! My husband is a wonderful man and I don't think I tell him enough how much I appriciate his kindness, he brings me flowers for no reason and kisses me in my sleep, and does way more dishes then any man I know!!! He works hard every day to supprot his family and comes home to play! He prays with the girls before bed and changes lots of poopy diapers!!!

Being married for 5 years blows my mind!!!! Times goes by so fast!! What I love the most about our marrage is Ryan's my best friend, he'd the one person in my life that lets me down but always raised me up again, hurts me but feels my pain, he's been mean but always said he was sorry. No marrage is perfect but I really feel good about mine, Ryan and I know each other so well he knows when I need a hug, and knows when I need a break, and in turn I see when he hurts but thinks he's hidding it, I also see dreams in his eyes, he wants great things for our little family. I am more in love today then 5 years ago it's very much a different love, the Bible says "the two become of one flesh" and I truely feel that with my husband I don't make any desition without thinking about Ryan, I don't have a feeling without him in mind.

I love him with all my heart and can't wait to see what the Lord has for us in the next 20 years!!!

The Best Day!!!

I've had such a good day and I wanted to tell you all about, I don't want my blog to be a grip blog and lately that's what it's been, so I thought I'd tell you about my great day!!
It started at 7:30 (not 6:30 cuz Madison slept in a little bit and Morgan fell back to sleep after nursing her at 7:00) Morgan was still sleeping so me and Madison made blueberry pancakes and shared breakfast together. Morgan woke up around 8:15 and we all got dressed and headed into town to pay rent and get a few groceries for dinner. Me and Maddie got Dutch Bro which was free cuzI had 10 stamps!!! Yeah!!! When we got to Winco I found that they had a two pound flat of strawberries for $2.95!!!!! (Limit one person customer) At that price we're sooo going to have strawberry shortcake for desert !! The girls were great, they sat in their seats like little angels and didn't whine the whole time we were in the store.... I know it hard to believe but it's true!! So as promised before entering I bought Madison a princes balloon as reward. ( She loves it)
When was got home I nursed Morgan, who latched on right away with no frustration screams (sorry if this is too much info but this is all part of my perfect day) and afterwards laid in her bouncer and stayed there very contently while Madison and painted outside, it was great we brought Madison's little table out and Morgan in her bouncer and we all played out there for at least a hour and half. We'd paint a little, go play on bikes then go back to painting and then go back to the bikes. I brought grapes out for a snack and we laid on the grass and made faces at Morgan.
Morgan fell a sleep for her nap around 11:30 and Madison and I ate lunch with Ryan who came home for his lunch break, Madison went down for her nap around 12:30 and here I am typing away with no distractions and happy sleeping girls.
And my days only going to get better cuz we have friends coming over for dinner, and I can't wait. Well just wanted to share my great day with all of you, hope your days is as good as mine!!!

I found my keys!!!!

OK I found my keys I kid not I looked for 4 fours straight!!!! They were in Maidson's play kitchen in the sink in an oven mitt. I looked there at least 3 times but never touched the oven mitt. You should have seen my house I turned it up side down looking for them. It wasn't till I desided to start cleaning did I find them!!! I'm Ok now ( thanks for the prayers Anna!)

Crying My Eyes Out

I don't understand whats going on in my house lately but this morning I've had it. It seems that everytime I turn around something is happening to make me feel like I'm going to lose it.
I few days ago Madison surprised me by saying she needed to go poo poo so we together ran to the potty and well sure enough she pooped! I was so proud, I praised her and gave her a treat, and since we were staying home that day I let her wear big girl panties. Well that the good side of the story, later she had an accident with more poo poo, it ok it was bound to happen right? Ok so I start the clean up.... as I'm pulling down her panties she starts to kick, kick hard....poo flies all over my living room. Little terds rolling about like spilled m&ms. AAAHHHHHHhhhh!!!!!
Ok I was a little upset with her but we got over it and all was ok.
But thing morning I so upset I can't put into words how tried I am. She's lost my car key...our only set!!! I"ve spent the last hour and half looking all over my house so not only are the keys still missing but my house in literly upside down!!! And to rub on my nerves even more she walking around the house asking " where keys mommy?" "where keys mommy?" I don't know where the keys are child!!!! You tell me!!
Ladies I need prayer I've prayed so many times for god to help me find my keys and..... nothing I feel lost He always helps me with this stuff, and it was always my little thing with me and God I always loss stuff and he always helps me find it. But not today and I know there ahs to be a reason he's testing me but I just don't know why right now... other baby's sceaming.

Is it just me or is it true when more then one 2 year old is present the more destuctive they become? I watch a friend's little boy for her 1 or 2 days a week and I sware he and Madison detroy my house with in minutes of his mom leaving, mind you they have a blast doing it.

First they tear everything out in Madison's room,pulling all the books off the shelves, all then they move on to the closet when dress-up and toys are. What a mess!!!!!!

They also snuck into my garage and pulled down a bucket of 3000 foam shapes for scrapbooking and spilled them all over my floor!

I went to Mac yesterday with a friend and got a make over. The girl said I should go with purple cause I have greenish eyes and the purple would make my eye's "pop". So I let them go to town and well I felt like a Vegas show girl afterwards. I think next time I'll go a little more soft. But it was fun running my arrands looking freak'n hot. Needless to say I didn't buy it but I did get some great mascara. (Sorry Anna I took your idea to take a picture of my eyes.)

Does anyone ever feel like there is so much to do yet never enough time? I can have the perfect list and the best plan of attack but at the end of the day I still fell like I didn't get near enough done. There's still that huge pile of laundry to fold, I really wanted to clean the bathrooms but never got to it and that pile of papers that needs to be shorted through is still sitting there. A mothers work is really is never done! I love being a stay at home mom it's the best job I've ever had, and I've had a lot of jobs!!! It's kinda like all my old jobs all lumped into one job. Wells it's off to fold that pile of laundry .......again and tomorrow I'll fold it again and maybe I'll get those bathrooms clean.... probably not though.

OK my 2 years old has a dirty little secret and it's time to let it out! She still uses a pacifier to sleep. I told myself she needed to be done with it by her second birthday, and well it's now 4 days past that mark and she's still crying like a crazy person for that bacteria infested little thing!!! Does anyone have any advise on how deal with this? I've tried letting her cry it out but she cries for hours on end and well my head can't take it!! I tried throwing them away in front of her and saying they were broken she still ask for it at bed time and we end up giving her a new one. I know in my heart this is just one of those things that you have to be firm on but my head hurts so bad from the last 2 hours of crying and I just gave in so she'd at least took a little nap before 5pm!!! I'm also tempted to just let her have it and assume she let it go when she's ready. But NO I really don't want to pay for braces later!!! Good teeth run in the family and she's going to ruin them!! I need help here ladies, someone give me the magic words to fix my broken child!!!

I want to introduce you all to my two very spacial girls. They will be the topic of most of my blogs and I guarantee they will be entertaining.

Madison just turned 2 on May 4th and is trying to prove it to the world. She's very smart and even taller!!! We measured her on her birthday and she's 36 1/2 in. Now I heard some where that on a child's 2nd birthday you take their height and double it and that's the adult height, which means my child is going to be 6 ft 1 in, I see basketball in her future!!! Well that's what Ryan sees.

Now Morgan's my newest little addition she was born in January 29th. She has the most beautiful dimples in the world!!! She's doing great!!!! She was born a good eater and has almost doubled in weight. She's sleeps from about 10:30 to 5am and goes back to sleep till 7am. I couldn't ask for a better schedule.
